A29 Speed Reductions

NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council proposes to introduce a permanent Order the effect of which will be to introduce:-
(i) a 20mph speed limit on the length of the A29 through Coldwaltham village and on the roads in Coldwaltham village; and
(ii) a 30mph speed limit on the length of the A29 between Bury Gate and Watersfield; and
(iii) a 40mph speed limit on the length of the A29 between Coldwaltham and Pulborough.
As part of the legal process West Sussex County Council is required under the Road Traffic Regulation Act to undertake a formal consultation with you. I am pleased to attach a weblink. This will enable you to view:
* Plans showing the proposed lengths of roads to be subject to the new speed limits.
* Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order
* Public Notice outlining the proposal that will be advertised in the West Sussex County Times
